Currently, our protected data access policy requires that a user be a Mozilla Corporation employee and log in using their LDAP account in order to be granted protected data access. Access is removed if the employee leaves the company.

This current policy prevents me from granting access to Mozilla Foundation employees or employees of the various subsidiaries of the Mozilla Foundation.

A couple of weeks ago, I talked with Michael Feldman (legal) about this. We have data sharing agreements with Mozilla Foundation and subsidiaries, so we can change the protected data access policy to require that a user be an employee of Mozilla Corporation, Mozilla Foundation, or Mozilla Foundation subsidiary.

I reviewed the protected data access agreement and we actually don't need to make any changes to it--the wording is good as-is.
