select a file, eg. turner.htm 
press the back button to get back to the dir listing

instead an error occurs! an alert window which says "the file /metaphor/ cannot
be found.... bla bla"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. goto http://philosophy.uoregon.edu/metaphor/
2. select a file, eg. turner.htm 
3. press the back button to get back to the dir listing

Actual Results:  

instead of getting the dir listing, an error occurs! an alert window which says
"the file /metaphor/ cannot be found.... bla bla" 

Expected Results:  
showed the dir listing since which was first visited

I intermittently get this error.  I believe it occurs when I click the back
button before the page is completely loaded.

I use
http://www.it.jobserve.com/jobserve/searchresults.asp?jobType=C&d=5&order=DateTime&page=1&q=sybase
and clicking one of the links and then the back button sometimes gives me this
error.

Since upgrading to Mozilla 1.6 I now get this bug too.  It most often occurs for
me on the yahoo.com main page.  Go to http://www.yahoo.com .  From there click
on a link.  Then press the back button to return.  Sometimes the back button
will generate an alert window with the error "the file / cannot be found."
