JavaScript does not store preloaded images into the cache

Details
When I use javascript to preload a image into the cache the image does not stay
in the cache everytime you mouseover the image it has to go to the website and
retive it the code is good I know casue I tried it in IE And Netscape

1. What build ID of Mozilla are you using? Please include that in any report.
2. What settings do you have in Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Cache
and Edit > Preferences > Privacy&Security > Images ?
This could be a duplicate of bug 93461,
"images swapped via JS are loaded again and again from network"

Well if this isn't a Javascript problem, it's more likely ImageLib than the Cache.
