Note
- When the user launches the PiP for the first time, it will display at the very bottom-right edge. If then, the user decides to enlarge the PiP by grabbing the let or top edge, he will notice that he is unable.
Affected versions
- Nightly v101.0a1
- Beta v100.0b4
- Release
- ESR
Affected platforms
- Mac OS only
Steps to reproduce
- Launch browser.
- Play any video
- Launch the PiP.
- Grab the left or top edge and enlarge the PiP.
Expected result
- The user is able to enlarge the PiP.
Actual result
- The used is unable to enlarge the PiP.
Regression range
- Not a recent regression.
Additional notes
- Firstly, I think it's important to mention that the PiP cannot be placed in such a position that would spill out of the screen (as it does on Windows and Ubuntu).
- It is important to mention that the PiP enlarges differently on Windows/Ubuntu compared to Mac OS (bug 1757916):
** Windows 10
grabs top edge - enlarges to the right - should be left
grabs bottom edge - enlarges to the right - should be left
grabs left edge - it enlarges up - fine, because Windows doesn't allow spilling it upwards (jumps back and out of spill out)
grabs right edge - it enlarges down - fine
** Mac OS
grabs top edge - enlarges BOTH right and left
grabs bottom edge - enlarges BOTH right and left
grabs left edge - enlarges BOTH up and down
grabs right edge - enlarges BOTH up and down
@danibodea, does this behaviour happen to be what is observed in this comment? (Just wanted to confirm)

Thanks for confirming. Cross-posting my comment and video recording from Bug 1666239:
... With MacOS, the resize-margin seems relatively small, and resizing or repositioning of the pip window doesn't happen if the mouse cursor is at a very specific spot close to the edge.
This is not from default position, but it shows that it is not possible to drag the pip window if the mouse cursor is positioned a specific way.
