Steps to reproduce:

Open duolingo.com website in Firefox in Ubuntu 21.10 X11. Start learning.

Actual results:

Crackles while playing audio samples. The same on PC with Ubuntu and on laptop with Ubuntu. The same in Firefox as a snap package and in Firefox directly from Mozilla as a tar.bz2.

Expected results:

Clear sound.
In Brave browser audio samples on duolingo.com sound clear (both on PC and on laptop with Ubuntu).
