Steps to reproduce:
While working on bug 297852 we noticed that newly added search terms are no longer highlighted and the focus is also not moved into the searchVal any more:
TB 68: Highlight + focus moved
TB 78: Highlight, no focus moved, likely broke during de-XBL
TB 91: No highlight, no focus moved.
