Note

• When the user loads Hulum plays a movie, launches the PiP and pauses it from the PiP, he will notice that the movie will unpause itself.

Affected versions

• Nightly v100.0b7
• Beta
• Release
• ESR

Affected platforms

• Ubuntu 21
• I believe this reproduces on all platforms, but only Ubuntu 21 was tested so far.

Steps to reproduce

1. Launch browser.
2. Load Hulu and log in.
3. Play a movie and launch the PiP.
4. Click the PiP's pause button.

Expected result

• The video remains paused indefinitely.

Actual result

• The video eventually unpauses itself (in about 10 seconds).

Regression range

• Not a recent regression.

Additional notes

• The same thing happens if the PiP's X button is clicked; the original player will unpause itself after about 10 seconds.
• The issue seems to be cause by Hulu;s video player becasue there is a reload happening if the video is paused from the PiP.
