Steps to reproduce:
When fast-forwarding or rewinding videos in YouTube, there is no sound output. Also, there are long loading times when fast-forwarding or rewinding.
This problem only occurs with the MacBook Air.
If another speaker is connected via bluetooth, there is no problem with fast-forwarding or rewinding.
Is it possible that Firefox has a problem with the internal sound card of the MacBook Air?
Under Ubuntu or Windows there is no problem.

Sounds like a cubeb issue.

Reporter, can you please try to record a profile, using the Firefox profiler, as shown in this video: https://blog.paul.cx/post/profiling-firefox-media-workloads/#the-media-preset (text information just below the video). Please make sure to choose the Media profiler preset to we have all the right info.
Try to fast forward in the video a number of times, waiting each time a few seconds until it works.
Can you also attach the raw data you find in about:support (type this in the address bar) to this bug? This will give us all the info to diagnose this properly. Thanks!
