Details

This bug is similar to bug 1765974, which is about the composer window that doesn't show the key assistant.

This bug here is for the scenario that the key assistant is currently shown inside the composer window. (Note the key assistant is currently disabled by default, it will be enabled by default once the work in bug 1627956 is considered sufficiently complete.)

Detailed decryption:

The OpenPGP key assistant popup shows information about the key availability for recipients. It will report email addresses with missing/unaccepted keys.

The user is able to use windows that are open in parallel (primarily the OpenPGP key manager window) to change the key availability status.

The problem is:
If the user returns to the composer window, and key status has changed, the key assistant will continue to show outdated information, thereby misleading the user.

Desired fix:
If the composer regains focus and the key assistant is currently showing, the information on screen must be refreshed to show the most recent status.

I consider this a blocker for enabling key assistant by default. Showing incorrect information is worse than showing no information.
