I have verified that this issue is no longer reproducible using the latest Firefox Nightly 101.0a1 (Build ID - 20220502094329) on Windows 10x64, macOS 12.2.3 and Linux Mint 20.2.
The icon from the “Shortcuts” section on the “about:preferences” page is visible.
