This bug was introduced by bug 1757096, which added the key ID to the key properties dialog.
However, instead of the expected key ID of the primary key, the key ID of a subkey might be incorrectly shown.
To reproduce, view an OpenPGP encrypted message. click on the OpenPGP status icon, and then click on "view your decryption key".
The decryption key is usually a subkey.
The key properties dialog opens, and you will see that the fingerprint and key ID are inconsistent - the key ID always matches the trailing characters of the fingerprint. But in this scenario, a different ID is shown.
If you open the structure tab, you will note that the shown key ID belongs to one of the subkeys.
We must change this to always show the key ID of the primary key.
The bug can also be reproduced when viewing a signature, if the signature is a subkey (which is an advanced configuration).
