Details
When I use "View page source" and change "character coding" this source, source
text was clear off.

Confirmed in build 2002101612 (1.2b) on Windows NT. When you touch the character
coding menuy, the screen clears, and there's nothing to return it to normal.
Couldn't find a dupe.
