The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I don't think it's related to Gtk, moving to Firefox component.

Fullzoom is a different component, maybe layout? I'm not sure.

This doesn't seem like a layout bug unless I'm missing something. It's the front-end what needs to instruct us to zoom the page. Moving to the component for browser-FullZoom.js

I didn't manage to reproduce this issue on the latest Firefox version 100.0.2 on Ubuntu 22.04 after multiple attempts.
thekswenson, could you please let me know if the issue is reproducible using Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and a new profile?

I'm also having trouble reproducing this at the moment, although I'm not using my normal setup because I'm traveling. I'll check on this issue when I get back in a couple of weeks.

Hello! I have managed to reproduce the issue following the STR provided in the description with firefox 101.0.1, 103.0a1(2022-06-14) and 102.0b7 on Ubuntu 22.04.
The issue is intermittent and in my case only happens only after I opened around 10-20 new messages.
I like would like to mention that the issue only affects Ubuntu, Windows 10 and MacOS 12 are not affected by it.
Marking this issue as NEW for better visibility and updating the flags.
Thank you!
