User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:90.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0

Steps to reproduce:

Firefox on Wayland with SwayWM (https://swaywm.org) on Arch Linux latest.

  1. Install lots of extensions that add to the context menu (right-click menu)
  2. Right click on a linked image (for an even lengthier context menu)

Actual results:

Sometimes Firefox crashes, sometimes the context menu flickers

Expected results:

The context menu should have cut off, but most importantly, Firefox should not have crashed.

Temporary fix is to disable context menus in each extension. I cannot attach another video with Firefox working as expected, but it is shared here https://cloud.disroot.org/s/2ww7kijza2SJEPA (a little slow)

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Widget: Gtk
Product: Firefox → Core
Blocks: wayland-sway
Priority: -- → P3

It's a sway specific issue, please report there. It should be fixed in some latest Sway version.
