Using mozilla latest stable mozilla I could log into my bank if i chose a medium security certificate (personal certificate). As far as I remember 2048b didn't work, but 1024b did. Using mozilla 1.2b i can download al three (2048, 1024, 512) versions of the certificate, and they show up i the certificate handler, but I am not given a choice between them when I log in, all I get is at "this page requires a client certificate" error. Using latest stable I can choose between certificates (after making mozilla not pick "the best"), allthough it took a while before that worked too. As far as I remember a lot of certificates where downloaded/backed up/restored/deleted etc. before the "choose certificate" box would allow the two users of the machine (me and a friend) to pick our own certificate, not go whith the first on the list or whatever mozilla chose. How it suddenly worked is a mystery, the box "make me choose certificate every time" (or similar) was ticked from the beginning, though. Maybe some of the problem occured because my friend had a ø ø in his name, which showed up as something different in the certificate listing, I don't know. The point is that before you could at least delete all certificates and restore the one you where about to use before logging in to the bank, but now mozilla doesen't pick any of the certificates on the client certificate list. This is clearly a big error. Now I cannot use moz 1.2b for checking my regular sites (which includes the bank skandiabanken.no). If it helps I am running moz on win2000, norwegian edition without admin access (which is one of the reasons why i run moz, IE doesn't allow me to download certificates because of access controll, but moz could be installed fully in my personal folders (continue that! I have come to hate all the software that refuses to be installed whithout write access to c:\) and worked well enough (only error being the hassle before certificates worked propperly on moz 1). Hope this can be fixed. Sorry for the long bug report. Keep up the wery good work!
