User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:100.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/100.0
Steps to reproduce:
The problem happens frequently, but not always, when waking the computer from sleep. I am using Firefox 100.0.2 on a M1 Pro Macbook running macOS 12.3.1.
Actual results:
Open windows no longer get redrawn. I believe Firefox is still responding, and it is just not updating the window. For example, if I click on another tab, nothing seems to happen. It continues to show the previously selected tab. But if I then click a different window (either another Firefox window or a different program), the first window gets sent to the background and at the same time changes to show the new tab I clicked on.
The only way I have found to fix the problem is to quit Firefox and restart it.
Expected results:
It should continue working normally.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Cocoa' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Given recent bugs, it seems more likely that this is related to WebRender than anything on the widget side. Reassigning to get some eyes on this. There might be logs that can be collected that would help investigate this here.
