How did you install?
Reporter: Please close mozilla and delete the file "localstore.rdf" in your profile. Does it work now ?
Severity: blocker → major
Mail from reporter: 1.2b installer, then 1.2 overnight build copy folder to Applications folder ------------------------------------------ This is just what the release notes say _not_ to do... please consider deleting it all and reinstalling properly...
The original report says "can't see anything, including this info". It sounds like a window is there, but just not very visible? Possible duplicate of bug 167663, where the window on Mac OS-X can get pixel thin. If it's a dup, deleting localstore.rdf in the profile directory is a workaround, like comment 3 indicates.
via mail : -- yes, that brought the windows back. Thanks! -- so now I know: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021029 -- this is Mac OS X 10.2.1 Jaguar, btw, on an iBook 500MHz -- this hasn't happened on my G4, likewise 10.2.1 -- the windows actually did 'appear' as very short vertical white lines, one pixel wide, about 30 or 40 pixels high -- b.rad *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 167663 ***
