Details

After upgrading from 0.9.9 to 1.2b (build 2002101612), the proxy.pac file
specified in the proxy setup tab seems to be ignored - the client tries a local
dns lookup on the host specified in any URI - doesn't talk to proxy.
Hrm.  Oops.  I actually went from an 0.9x something to 1.0.0 release, then to
1.2b.  That may or may not matter...
