Right now, Firefox supports icon
but not image
from the Web Notifications API. I would like to be able to specify image
to the Alert service in some form for use in Bug 1775128. This might just be a chrome-only option.

The final design for the Windows re-engagement toast notification wants to display the image as a hero image. This ticket tracks allowing that.

The immediate effect is to make any image larger and more prominent.
This might not be the right option for regular DOM notifications,
which support only icon
(and not image
) in Firefox at this time,
but we can adjust (perhaps limiting the generic template to privileged
alerts) as we need in the future.

Verified with Firefox 106.0b4 and Nightly 107.0a1 that Windows native notifications support inline/hero images on Windows 10x64 and Windows 11x64.
