"let us know your plans within 3 business days, or the offending patch(es) will be backed out in accordance with our regression policy." feels stronger than what is actually meant.
Dave suggested: Perhaps just changing "the offending patch(es) will be backed out" to "the offending patch(es) may be backed out" would soften it just enough?

For this bug, after it's resolved, we should file a follow-up bug to re-add the "3 business days" restriction with slightly better wording. The regression policy is valid but we haven't been applying it properly: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/governance/policies/regressions/
