Thunderbird 101.0 (for example) is a beta release. For crash reports, the ReleaseChannel
is beta
and the Version
is 101.0
.
The processor has a rule that should fix the version so it's something like 101.0b4
, but it looks like that's not kicking in. There's no processor notes.
Thunderbird crashes for beta releases should have beta identifiers in the version.

I think I know what's wrong... Socorro has its own archive scraper and it's not scraping Thunderbird releases from archive.mozilla.org, so it doesn't have the data in the table to do lookups with.
I'll work on verifying that theory locally and then add it.

I pushed this out in bug #1777242. I'll check tomorrow to see if archivescraper picked up build information and then verify the version string is getting fixed.

Thunderbird crash reports in the beta channel are getting the right version string now. Marking as FIXED.
