User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:103.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/103.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Select News Feed parent directory "Blogs & News Feeds"
- Click "Manage feed subscriptions" button in the main pane
- Add a feed URL
- Click on the "Store Articles in" field below
Actual results:
Nothing happens. Typing any keyboard key switches between the default parent namespace "Blogs & News Feeds" and the Feed directory on disk "/home/user/.thunderbird/xyzabc123.default-beta/Mail/Feeds"
Expected results:
A dropdown should have been shown with existing directories as options.

Thanks, confirming exactly as described.
Selecting a subfolder from the top tree view succeeds and updates the "Store articles in" field.
But it's not that clicking on that field itself does nothing (RFE).

That's unexpected and undiscoverable enough to be a bug.
Odd, but won't hurt much iiuc. Feed reader is one of those rarely used corners...

It seems nothing new and per design: https://searchfox.org/comm-central/rev/12d3830dea34b6289efb9dad17496dac8c093ab1/mailnews/extensions/newsblog/feed-subscriptions.js#1167-1173
Though I don't think that's very useful.
