Steps to reproduce:

There are multiple ways to reproduce, but they only work in Windows 11 22622. They will also only freeze for a few seconds:

  1. Copying a CSS selector from Dev Tools
  2. Go to any website with elements on the page.
  3. Use the element picker, and right click the element > Copy > CSS Selector
  4. Firefox will freeze.
  5. Copying text from a PDF
  6. Open a PDF.
  7. Copy some text in the PDF.
  8. Firefox will freeze.
  9. Cutting text from a textarea
  10. Go to a site with a textarea that has text in it.
  11. Cut some text in it and quickly paste.
  12. Firefox will freeze.

Actual results:

Firefox freezes when copying or cutting text for a few seconds.

Expected results:

Firefox should not freeze on copying or cutting text.
