Steps to reproduce:
There are multiple ways to reproduce, but they only work in Windows 11 22622. They will also only freeze for a few seconds:
- Copying a CSS selector from Dev Tools
- Go to any website with elements on the page.
- Use the element picker, and right click the element > Copy > CSS Selector
- Firefox will freeze.
- Copying text from a PDF
- Open a PDF.
- Copy some text in the PDF.
- Firefox will freeze.
- Cutting text from a textarea
- Go to a site with a textarea that has text in it.
- Cut some text in it and quickly paste.
- Firefox will freeze.
Actual results:
Firefox freezes when copying or cutting text for a few seconds.
Expected results:
Firefox should not freeze on copying or cutting text.
