Steps to reproduce:
Open Firefox and got to "about:preferences#privacy"
Check box for "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed"
Restart Firefox
Go back to "about:preferences#privacy"
Notice "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" option is unchecked
Actual results:
"Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" option resets to disabled after Firefox is restarted.
Expected results:
"Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" option should persist between restarts when enabled.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Preferences' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
The description of this issue looks like an issue we fixed in 102.0.1, are you using the latest version of Firefox or are you still on 102.0.0 ?

I was using version 102.0.0, I installed 102.0.1 using flatpak and the issue is now fixed thanks!
