Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox and set pdfjs.annotationEditorMode = 0
  2. Access any pdf form, ex: link
  3. Toggle on Add FreeText Annotation button and write a text on pdf.
  4. Save the pdf document and open the saved pdf.
  5. Try to search for a string previously entered.

Expected result

  • FreeText Annotation contents is searchable.

Actual result

  • FreeText Annotation contents isn't searchable.

  • This is not a regression.

This applies to PDFs that haven't been edited by pdf.js too.
