Currently, version increase simulations done by sheriffs involve manually patching versions and running ./mach try fuzzy -q '^test- !browsertime !raptor'.
It might be nice to have something like ./mach try release -v 106.0a1 --migration bump-central --tasks nightly DTRT.
Together with bug 1781202 it would also help uncover bugs in the bump configs (e.g. bug 1781092).
