1. With Today Pane showing, create a generic event for today with some generic title
2. Add the Following list of items in the Description field exactly as shown

2 Sweet potato veg rolls
2 California rolls
2 Avocado rolls
1 Spicy Tuna
1 Philly
1 Eel
1 Edamame

3. Save the event so it appears in Today Pane
4. Go and double-click the event you just created

Expected Results:

The list in Description will display as

2 Sweet potato veg rolls
2 California rolls
2 Avocado rolls
1 Spicy Tuna
1 Philly
1 Eel
1 Edamame

Actual Results:

The list in Description will display as

I can at least confirm that the tooltip on the event in the Today Pane shows this behavior but in my case not the summary or event dialog (Thunderbird 115.3.2 on macOS).
