STR:
- Bring up print dialog for any content
- Select a physical printer
- Set "Margins" to e.g. "Minimum"
- Cancel
- Open any PDF file & bring up print dialog
Expected:
We should not add any additional margins to PDFs. 1) I think margins can be presumed included, and 2) for some documents, avoiding scaling is essential (e.g. smartwatch sizing tool, to-scale CAD documents, etc)
Actual:
If a previously selected & persisted "Margins" option was not default, we nudge and scale the PDF to avoid unwriteable margins.
Perhaps for printing PDFs, we should set "Margins" to "Default" ignoring the persisted setting (Can we)?
