User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; es-ES; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020823 Netscape/7.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; es-ES; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020823 Hi! I'd love being able to specify a default url to be used on new tabs opened manually (by going to File->New->Browser Tab, or simply by pressing CTRL-T). Currently, the default is to open a blank page. What I'd love being able to do is making www.google.com the default url for new tabs opened manually. Notice that this is completelly different from the default "Home Page" of the browser which is loaded automatically when the browser is first started. In my case, I'd like to keep www.netscape.com as my browser's "home page" then have the browser automatically load www.google.com when I press (CTRL-T). Please consider this for future versions. I think the right place for this setup toggle would be under Edit->Preferences->Advanced, and could be described as [checkbox] "Open New Tabs with this url:" [url entry field]. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

This is a duplicate (the original is WONTFIX, iirc).

duplicate of bug 109551, which is probably in the 1.3 plan (I've seen UI specs). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 109551 ***
