Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 105.0a1 (2022-08-02) (64-bit)

Preconditions:
Private window open

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://corporate.target.com/article/2022/05/target-scholars
  2. Click on any of the social media buttons.
  3. Observe the result.

Expected Behavior:
The user is redirected to that specific social media website in order to share the article.

Actual Behavior:
The article opens in a new tab.

Notes:

  1. Video provided.
  2. Reproducible in private window regardless of the ETP status.
  3. Reproducible in normal window with ETP set to Strict.
Severity: -- → S3

They're using AddThis for the buttons, so it's something we'll have to investigate for opt-in shimming.

Blocks: tp-addthis
No longer blocks: tp-breakage
