Using the latest comm-central and a local artifact build.

If I have an XMPP account configured with "sign-on at startup", Thunderbird will freeze during startup (after showing the main window), and the UI is unusable. Gnome-shell gives me information "thunderbird not responding, wait, force-quit". Waiting doesn't help.

If I start with --offline, TB usable.

If I disable sign-on at startup, no freeze, TB usable.

Version: trunk → Thunderbird 105

If "sign-on at startup" is disabled, I can go to chat and manually connect the account, that works, no freeze.

Oops. This isn't limited to chat.

With chat disabled, I also freeze on startup with trying to connect to an imap server.

Summary: TB freezes on startup, if XMPP is set to "sign-on at startup", must use force-quit. → TB freezes on startup, must use force-quit.

Build 08-08 (10) already fails.

Build 08-06 still works.
