From: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/wjoodd/firefox_ram_issue_caused_from_google_pixel_6a/

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://store.google.com/product/pixel_6a?hl=en-US

What happens:

Page doesn't seem to finish loading and memory usage goes up rapidly. Within 2 or so minutes, my OS reported that the content process was using 5GB - the report on reddit said 10GB - I'm sure I could have waited longer to get to that point.

Memory report attached.

Tested on release Firefox, but the issue seems to happen on Nightly as well.

Component: Untriaged → Performance
Product: Firefox → Core

The page does not finish loading and high memory usage.
profileer log: https://share.firefox.dev/3bB7TuQ

Lots of "GloballyAutoplayBlocked" DOM events. Maybe the page is reacting badly and keeps retrying to play some audio/video.
