Clipboard objects copied from the URL field are formatted text. They should be unstyled text.
Chris, what build ID are you reporting this bug against?
Same on Mac OS 9.1, Build 2002110408 I have noticed the same with bookmark manager and other places. I think that mozilla always copy styled text
Chris, why should the URL field be copied as unstyled text?
Summary: URLs copied out of location field are formatted with a font → Copy URL field as unstyled text
Given that the URL bar does not support styled text, there's no added value.
