User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:103.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/103.0
Steps to reproduce:
I am a Front-end Dev so I would always use the console section of inspect mode to check console logs and I wanted from console to show the similar logs separately because the similar logs would group together so I clicked the gear button at the right side of the toolbar part and then I marked off the "Group Similar Message" but it still was grouping the similar logs regardless of the option in the settings.
Actual results:
It grouped the similar messages regardless of marking off the option "Group Similar Messages".
Expected results:
It had to separate the same logs of the console.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Preferences' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

The bot is wrong, Its not about preferences. Its about the Developer Tools mode and Inspect mode.

I can not reproduce the issue on Win10 using build 103.0 (20220718155818).
I used web developer tool to inspect this page (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2949653/select-into-and-undeclared-variable-error/2949685#2949685 ) and messages were displayed according to setting (having Group messages checked/unchecked).
Can you please be more specific in what messages are not correctly grouped?
Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables add-ons, extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems.) See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode. Thank you.
