We have issues with investigating an error (bug 1533058) that only happens in CI for Linux test jobs (Marionette and Wdspec). Given that pushing try builds is time and cost intensive and that I haven't made progress yet, I would like to check if I can more easily fix the issue when having a loaner to run the tests myself.

Hey Henrik!
Static loaners haven't really been a thing since we switched to Taskcluster and Michelle's idea to service this request hit a road block. I also tried creating an interactive task off one of your linked tasks and it looks like it doesn't connect to the shell. I think it's being blocked by a firewall and wonder if it was regressed by the recent switch to GCP.
Unfortunately I think this is going to take awhile and your best bet may be try server debugging for now :(

That's sad to hear. Did you file a bug regarding the shell not being able to connect? It would be great to get this resolved at least. Happy to file a bug myself.

For now we solved it via a workaround which didn't force me to further investigate this issue. As such I'm going to close this specific bug.
