Download links no longer bring up a save-as dialog; they bring up an error
instead. In some cases, the file can be retreived from the temp directory, but
usually not. This bug may be the same as or similar to bug
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171441, but it is NOT FIXED in 1.2b.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open browser window
2. Type in ftp://ftp.devrycols.edu/virus/setup.exe
3. Error occurs (see attachment)

Optionally,
1. Go to any page which has a file download link
2. Click the link
3. Error occurs (see attachment)

Actual Results:  
No save-as dialog appears. The almost never downloads to temp box (for example,
it will on aol pictures, but not for devry virus ftp). See attachment for the
error dialog which occurs when the devry ftp was attempted. Note - there is no
problem on the DeVry server side!

Expected Results:  
The file download should begin, followed by a save-as dialog box.

Anyone got a workaround?

Remove compreg.dat to fix.
