The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Password Manager' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

:dragons.fire.zx thank you for letting us know about this issue. This is Primary Password (password that protects your Firefox) prompt and it's not coming from Reddit or related to it. It is appearing because your Firefox Account is trying to sync a few seconds after browser start, but to do so it needs Primary Password.
:serg the problem is about that windo popping up when i don't need to insert a password, nor i am willing to do so if i was not logged. that window should appear only when necessary and in the right section of the site. that is the "problem" about, every time i visit that site that window pops up and it is very annyoing

:Bros123 I managed to reproduce this. There is a Primary Password prompt after browser starts (one I was thinking of, happens because Sync wants to run), I cancelled it. Then there was another Primary Password prompt every time I load Reddit. We notice a password field on the page and attempting to access logins, which requires Primary Password. Let me reword bug title.
STR:
- Have a Primary Password
- Have a one or a few logins saved for reddit.com
- Login to reddit.com
- Close Firefox
- Open Firefox
- Dismiss Primary Password after startup
- Open reddit.com
- Primary Password prompt appears, even though user is logged in to Reddit and is not trying to login again
