Details

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1637427 +++

Steps to reproduce:

I added "MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1" to my .desktop file and have screen scaling larger than 100%. The mouse cursor will look substantially smaller than what the system shows.
If the scaling of the screen is set to 100% everything is good.

This is impacting on HiDPI screens, I can't even tell where the cursor is half the time.

This has affected me too.

Oddly, after some updates today, the cursor has gone from being slightly too small to much too large in my case.

The largeness seems to be this Arch/GTK3 bug, but I presume that when that is fixed it will go back to being too small.

This also affects me.
I run Firefox 107.0b2 64bit flatpak, where wayland is apparently the default.
My screen is HiDPI with 200% scaling, and the cursor goes from 1.5cm size outside Firefox to 3mm when hovering over Firefox.

My distro is Fedora Kinoite 37 (kde plasma).
Not sure how bug triage works, but I'll gladly run tests if someone proposes a fix.

same here, raw firefox downloaded from your website, version 112, kubuntu 23.04, scaling 150%, firefox has a small mouse pointer.
layout.css.devPixelsPerPx has only an affect on the UI itself.
