User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:103.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/103.0
Steps to reproduce:
1- Open Firefox
2- Uncheck the option ''When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately''
3- Add a bookmark to your bookmark toolbar
4- either [middle-mouse-button click] OR [right click > open in new tab] to that bookmark you added
5- bookmark opens in a new tab, but Firefox switches to it immediately, which is not desired.
You could also have the same problem if you produce the following steps, too.
1- Open Firefox
2- Uncheck the option ''When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately''
3- Open a new tab, and write anything into the address-bar, do not press enter
4- [middle-mouse-button click] onto one of the results in the drop-down
5- New tab opens with the desired result, but Firefox switches to it immediately.
Actual results:
A new tab opens, but Firefox switches to it immediately.
Expected results:
A new tab should open, but Firefox shouldn't switch to it immediately.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Tabbed Browser' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I have enabled 'browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground' as it was suggested in reddit, which solved my issue
