OK, I am using the 1.2 beta, but this happens on the stable as well. I am using Win2K, nothing special, and in the Preferences-Scripts and Plugins I have everything unchecked in the "Allow Scripts To": window except cookies, which I screen elsewhere... NY Times is a pet-peeve URL of mine, and Mozilla was doing a bang-up job of squelching pop-ups. Until a week or so aho... Now in NY Times I go to the home page, and no pop-ups. Ok, fine. But I click to and article and then go BACK and Boom! A popup. And this morning, as soon as i hit the home page I got a pop-up. Is this a Mozilla bug, or NYT Times performing something insidious in their scripting? Weirder yet, its erratic. Writing this bug report i opened another instance of Mozilla, back to WWW.nytimes.com, and no popups. Float to several articles, hit back and STILL no pop-ups. Weird. Just felt someone should know about it. Regards, Eric Lecht elecht@adm.state.id.us
