Steps to reproduce:
Tried to use an android device with a keyboard, and pressed ctrl t to open a new tab
Actual results:
Nothing
Expected results:
A new tab opens. Every other browser does this, why don't you? Hint, this is rhetorical there is -no- good answer to this!

Very frustrating.
Some dev work has been discussed/done on github, but not completed - and is now tracked on #1794664
