Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021106 Chimera/0.6+
In Chimera if you maximise a window, the window grows to the screen width and
height (like Windows). Most people probably haven't noticed this but if you have
a 17" iMac (like me) it's quite annoying.
If you maximise in IE, the window only grows to the amount that it needs to and
I think that's the way Chimera should behave. For example if an image is too
wide to fit in the window, clicking the maximise button would enlarge the window
to a size that would fit the image (if it can).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to www.yahoo.com
2. Make window as narrow as possible
3. Click 'maximise' button (green button)
Actual Results:
Screen grows to entire screen width
Expected Results:
The window should have only grown to the necessary width.
I'm on a 12" iBook monitor. For me, this is a feature rather than a bug. I
always browse in full-screen mode and it's convenient for me to be able to click
the maximize button to get the window to take up the full screen.
