in the folder pane i display the columns NAME, UNREAD and SIZE.

The width of these columns cannot be resized (no size-handler appears and one
can only CLICK the headers, which by the way doesn't do anything).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. display multiple colums in the folder pane of MailNews
2. Try to resize columns
3.

Actual Results:  
nothing

Expected Results:  
resize handler would appear
WFM in mail panel and news panel, build id 2002110508 , win98
i'm referrin to the folder pane, the one on the left. I CAN resize the entire
pane, but i can't resize NAME, or UNREAD or SIZE.

now using 2002110708 on XP Pro SP1
seeing this bug on linux too. A 4 day old build did not have it. With the
introduction of the size column, i can't resize any of them. SO - possibly a
fallout from the fix for bug 173825.

Right, so this is not limited to Mail; I see it in the Bookmark Manager as well
as Cookie Manager.
I'm seeing this in 2002110813 on winxp and win2k.
A patch to bug 178604 was recently checked in; is this bug now fixed?
yes.  I no longer see this problem in mail in 20021120004 on 2k or xp.

Sorry for that but i have two reasons for that:

- Bug still appears for me on 2002120404 on XP Pro SP1.
- patch for bug 178604 is not checked in yet and this bug is not marked FIXED
yet, with last comment nearly a month old

(some progress has been made though : a size handler now appears, however it
doesn't do anything yet)
