17904 - [DOGFOOD] My address book isn't showing the names

In a clobber build from this morning (11/3). I try to view my address book
and most of the display names for the entries are showing up blank. If I edit
the card, all the properties (including the name) are there so the data is
definetly there. Just in the "thread pane" for the address book, the names are
blank.

Scrolling does seem to antagonize the situation as I lose as more names turn
blank when I scroll.

I looked at this bug and Bug 17895.
I'm suffering from this bug on my Windows build today.
I just cannot display any of the headers at all even though the
entries are there and I can see the contents as I move the cursor through
the headers list.
Bug 17895 has a workaround of sorts but this one does not.
For me this is a must fix for M11.

I don't believe this is a duplicate of Bug 17895.
The detailed descriptions are different and that bug
is about losing header pane display after the focus has shifted
to another folder.
This bug is about not having any display at all in the header
pane.
Are we all agreeing that this is a duplicate of the other one?

Lisa, I've looked at this again and it now seems that we are
looking at the same thing but the emphasis is different.
In the other bug, it is reported that the first time you open
Address Book, you get the whole listing.
This is where my experience is different. I don't get the whole listing.
I only get 50% or feweer of the listing and the rest are blank.
Also, I don't see any e-mail addresses at any time.

Once I shift focus to another folder, it gets worse as the other bug
describes --> no display of names or e-mail addresses anywhere.

We can keep this a duplicate of the other one but we need to upgrade
the seriosuness of the other bug unless we want to give up on Address Book
for M11.

Using build 1999110417 build on win98, the specific scenario in this bug is
fixed. However it is still a duplicate of the original problem in 17895 and I
will verify as duplicate.  Bug 17895 is partially fixed (meaning you can see the
cards in the results pane initially, but following some specific steps (which
are pretty common) you can lose the results display and it has been reopened.
Verifying this as duplicate
