Description

[Will Kahn-Greene [:willkg] ET needinfo? me]

There's a processor rule that looks at the PluginContentURL and PluginUserComment annotations and stomps on URL and Comment with them in certain cases. These two fields aren't defined in CrashAnnotations.yaml. Also, they don't appear in any crash reports after Firefox 78.

This bug covers figuring out if they're still used and if not, removing support for them.

A searchfox query suggests neither are in the code base.

Gabriele: Any idea if these two fields are still in use by any of the active supported Mozilla products?

I found no traces of them in the codebase, and I've looked back years. My guess is that they were Flash-related.
