User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:104.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/104.0

Steps to reproduce:

create videos using:
ffmpeg -framerate 0.5 -i %02d.png test2.mp4
ffmpeg -framerate 0.5 -i %02d.png test2.webm
ffmpeg -framerate 0.5 -i %02d.png test2.ogg

open videos in firefox, chromium, and totem (GNOME videos)

Actual results:

different errors or webm and mp4, no error for ogg

Summary: .webm and .mp4 can't be played but the file is NOT corrupt, and .ogg video can be played → Error playing video - YUV444 chroma subsampling

We think this might depend on the particular platform decoder support for this color format. We have plans to improve on this but they are longer term.

No longer blocks: media-triage
