Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:106.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/106.0

Steps to reproduce:

This is a Wayland specific issue as it doesn't happen in X11 / XWayland mode.

When trying to open bookmarks in the bookmark toolbar, in certain situations they fail to open.

[folder 1] > [folder 2] > [folder 3 with a lot of bookmarks] > ... failure here

It seems to happen with certain depth of folders (seems to be 3) when that third folder has a big number of bookmarks. For same depth but a few, it opens OK.

I.e. hovering over that folder 3 simply doesn't bring up the menu for the next level and appears to hang, until you hit Esc.

This looks like a recent regression, since it was working fine just a few updates prior.

Set up:

  • KDE Wayland session (Plasma 5.25.5)
  • GTK 3.24.34
OS: Unspecified → Linux
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64
