Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Firefox.
2. Go to a page which has the Reader View option, such as https://longform.org/best .
3. Click on the star-shaped Bookmark button from the top right of the Address Bar to bookmark the page.
4. Enable Reader View.
5. Observe the Bookmark icon.

Expected result

• Bookmark icon is blue and it shows that the site is bookmarked.

Actual result

• Bookmark icon is unfilled and it shows that the site is not bookmarked.

Regression range

• WIll look for one ASAP.

Notes

• This is also reproducible in Chrome.

I don't think this is a regression since I could reproduce way back to a 2016-01-02(46.0a1) Nightly build. Seems like this behaviour was always present.

This is basically the same root cause as bug 1185918.
