When we make a decision based on the user's cookie management preferences it could be useful to the user to know which decision was taken.
Show a button in the identity block so that the user knows what action was taken.
If our action can be remembered it would be nice to be able to see what action we took after the initial page load as well.

Could you help prioritize this? Should we consider it for MVP or keep it in the backlog?

This isn't in the current scope for 110, so we should definitely kick it out to the future.
It's not clear to me cookie banner handling is so important that it should be added to the toolbar at all; redirecting to Romain to decide on whether to prioritize this UI.

Let's keep it in the backlog for considerations for later but I agree with Jared here that it's not obvious to me that there is enough user value here to warrant having a persistent indicator in the URL bar. UX is considering changes to the shield animation at some point in the furure that could help address this issue.

Per comment 4, moving this out of the desktop UI v1, and under the v2 desktop UI metabug instead

We have no plans to implement this for v2 / firefox 113, so marking as P5 and removing from the v2 metabug list
