Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:106.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/106.0

Steps to reproduce:

Create event on Sunday 30 Oct 2022 at 13:00 to 15:50 and using timezone Europe/London.

Actual results:

Calender displays event as being 14:00 to 16:30 - i.e. shifted by one hour.
Edit dialog for the event still shows times as 13:00 to 15:50

Expected results:

Calendar should display event as 13:00 to 15:50 in agreement with dialog.

Might this be because someone has made Sunday the day for the UK change from BST to UTC whereas, in fact, the change takes place on Monday morning at 02:00?

No, the clocks change at 2am on Sunday morning. See https://www.gov.uk/when-do-the-clocks-change

In my haste to raise this issue, I scrambled my brain. I also mistyped 15:30 as 15:50. Duh. Apologies.
However, if I schedule a task for 13:00 to 15:30 on Sunday 30 October, I expect it to display as 13:00 to 15:30, not 14:00 to 16:30. If I do the same for an event on Monday 31 October at 13:00 to 15:30 it is displayed on the calendar, Day or Week view, as 13:00 to 15:30. The Sunday event does not. So I may be an idiot when rushed but there is, in fact, a bug.

Consequently, it is NOT resolved invalid - it is unresolved misunderstandings.

Seems to be bug 1797693
